The mission of the Sophienburg Museum and Archives is to preserve and inspire an interest in the history and culture of the New Braunfels area and promote the community's rich historical legacy.

There are several ways to support the mission of the Sophienburg New Braunfels Archives and Museum of History. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, we strive to preserve our important collections, develop and implement innovative educational programming to all ages, and maintain a solid foundation of staffing, training, infrastructure, and facilities that will serve our community in the best ways possible, while keeping our operating costs manageable and our admission costs affordable for our guests.

Please consider partnering with us.

Endowment Fund

Gifts to an endowment fund are truly gifts that keep on giving. Endowment funds support future growth, and continue to grow and earn interest that goes toward operations and programming as they grow. Your one-time gift will support us for years to come.

Our Endowment Fund is managed by the New Braunfels Area Community Foundation.
