Researching the intersection of expansionist U.S. policy in Latin America and the Pacific with widespread pro-neutrality and isolationist sentiment before and after World War One. I'm interested in looking into how Texans in rural communities thought about these issues, perhaps ways in which their concerns diverged from peoples' in metropolitan areas, and if the prominence of German ancestry gave these communities distinct perspectives.
