To honor and remember our veterans, the Archives is creating a database to collect biographical information of the men and women who served their country in the armed forces of their time from the U.S.-Mexican War to present day. This database includes those who were born, lived and/or died in Comal County. Limited information will be available through the Sophienburg website.

We are also collecting photos of the veterans in uniform, letters, diaries, scrapbooks, maps and other archival material. Please contact the Sophienburg if you have something to donate.
