About Membership
German immigrants and the people of Mexican and Native American heritage who were already in the area, built a community. They grew in population and diversity. New Braunfels flourished through the spirit of cooperation or Zusammenspiel, literally “together play” in German.
Through that same spirit of Zusammenspiel – playing together, cooperating – your membership sustains The Sophienburg while enjoying many outstanding benefits throughout the year.
