History to You

History to You is a program designed to bring the Museum directly to the classroom.  Docents will come to the school with “trunks” of artifacts to help share the history and culture of New Braunfels and early Texas.  Teachers may choose from two options:

• German Immigrant Trunk
• Republic of Texas Trunk

Additionally, the docents can add a hands-on activity to the program allowing several classes to participate simultaneously.  These include:

• Artifact ID Activity
• Picture Perfect Reporting

With the addition of the activity, two classes can be handled in the same class period.

Fees:  $3.00 per child
