Both venues are perfect for small, intimate gatherings or celebrations, and can be combined for larger events.

Rental fees
- Full day (during museum hours): $350
- Event extending after hours: $450
- All event bookings require a $100 security deposit to be paid when rental form is submitted.

Emmie Seele Faust Library
From 1938-1968, the Emmie Seele Faust building served as the library for the City of New Braunfels. Now completely restored, the building serves as a charming event venue for The Sophienburg and Archives. The beautiful field rock exterior and wrought iron accents are typical of 1930’s era architecture, and the interior is complete with original wood floors. Natural light from upper windows creates the perfect ambience for dinner clubs, family reunions, bridal showers and baby showers.

The Malmstead Pavilion
Located on the campus of The Sophienburg Museum and Archives, the Malmstead Pavilion is perfect for small outdoor weddings and garden parties. It can be combined with the library space for larger events.
